We congratulate Israel Rojas Rosas on his successful master's thesis defense in Biomedical Sciences and Technologies
The Biomedical Optics Instrumentation Group (GIOB) at the Optics Coordination of the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE) extends a warm congratulations to Israel Rojas Rosas, who successfully defended his thesis titled "Evaluation of Trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO) in Urine: Characterization via Raman Spectroscopy and its Association with Cardiovascular Diseases with Emphasis on Coronary Artery Disease." This achievement marks an important step toward earning his Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Technologies, under the supervision of Dr. Jorge Castro Ramos.
Israel's research addressed a highly relevant topic in cardiovascular health, contributing to the development of non-invasive methods for the early detection of diseases using Raman spectroscopy. His work on the characterization of TMAO as a key biomarker for cardiovascular diseases stands out for its potential impact on early diagnosis.
