- Education:
- I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a specialization in Biotechnology at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Zacapoaxtla. I am currently a professional resident in the optics team at INAOE, under the supervision of Dr. Jorge Castro Ramos.
- Research Interests: Searching for treatments for high-impact diseases through the identification of biomarkers. I am also interested in bioremediation of ecosystems damaged by various types of pollutants.
- Residency Project: “Determination of Cortisol in Saliva using the ELISA Test”
- Project Summary: During this professional residency, the state of the art on the importance of biomarkers, especially salivary cortisol, will be reviewed, focusing on its role as a key indicator of stress. Through the ELISA test, the goal is to quantify this biomarker and support standardized psychological techniques to better understand the effects of stress on physical and mental health.
- Hobbies: I enjoy keeping my mind busy with activities that contribute to personal growth. I love going to the gym, running, hiking, cycling, and discovering new places. I prefer being surrounded by nature and observing the ecological interactions of organisms.

- Education:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Research Interests: Biomedical signal processing.
- Thesis Project: “Absorbance Spectroscopy for the Detection of Chemical Parameters of Methylene Blue”
- Project Description: This project focuses on using absorbance spectroscopy to analyze the chemical parameters of methylene blue, a compound used in various scientific applications. The main objective is to determine the molar extinction coefficient of methylene blue, improving the precision and reproducibility of spectrophotometric measurements. The study experimentally validates an equation based on the Beer-Lambert law by preparing solutions and dilutions of the compound and using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer to measure absorbance at a specific wavelength (664 nm).
- Hobbies: I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching series, and playing volleyball.
